Craig Benjamin - 2008

An explosion due to a leaking gas main caused total destruction to the building at 1500 Wealthy St. SE, at the southeast corner of Wealthy and Ethel Ave. on Tuesday, February 26th 2008. The corner lot is filled with the remains of the building. A broken utility pole and sagging lines are visible. A firefighter with horizontal orange stripes on his coat can be seen just to the left of the upright utility pole. The Pita House is located in the brick building on the right, and the brick paving of Wealthy St. can be seen in the foregound.
