East Side Canal

1870

The Reuben Wheeler Company, located on the East Side Canal north of Bridge St., was a door, sash, blinds, and floor-dressing factory. Piles of lumber are stacked in the foreground, and across the canal. A bridge joins the two sides. A wagon is in the left foreground, and a horse, probably pulling a wagon, is seen on the right.
