Centennial Arches on West Bridge Street

L. V. Moulton - 1876

Two arches span West Bridge St. looking toward the east. At the left, next to the boardwalk, a horse hitched to a flag-bedecked wagon eats from a feedbag, trolley tracks can barely be discerned from those of wagons in the street but the trolley car can be seen in the distance as well as more horses and wagons. On the right is a sign for Dr. F. Kuhn near a second-floor window of a building where several men congregate, and just beyond is Cooper Bros. Candy Store at 25 West Bridge. Small trees grow along both sides of the road
