This portrait of Conrad G. Swensberg, founder of the Grand Rapids Business College in 1866, depicts a well-dressed man wearing a jacket with a velvet collar and bound lapels. His watch chain is just visible above his name, written at the bottom of the picture. He sports a rather wispy goatee and a full mustache.
