Street Lighting & Traffic Signal Room
1927
In a photo labled June 1927, we see an employee, dressed in a suit, who stands by a piece of electrical equipment in the center of the Signal Room. Other pieces of equipment are on benches along two walls, and an electrical board at the end of the room has a clock at the top like the clock atop the switchboard in the photo titled, City Lighting Switchboard. Various cord and pulleys hang from the ceiling, and a belt attached to a large wheel near the ceiling runs down to the bench on the right. An electric lamp hangs near the left side of the photo.
