Streetcar Interior #2

Murch Morris

A later model of streetcar, made by the St. Louis Car Co., has individual seats two abreast across an aisle with a patterned floor. Windows along the sides open, and there are buzzers between the windows to notify the conductors of a stop as in the older model. Modern electric lights are at the center of the ceiling. Near the front are straps for standing passengers to hold; behind the motorman, whose name appears to be David P. Clay, a box contains the Herald for the price of 3 cents.
