Jesiek Boats - Family Outing

Jesiek Boats - Family Outing

1908 ca

Camping on the riverbank, families enjoy the out-of-doors after arriving in Jesiek boats. Several men, women, and children look at the Grand River from the raised bank. Others are in the distance close to the water. In the background, under the shade of a big tree, a woman prepares a table in front of a tent. Two Jesiek boats are seen tied up at the shore, and a portion of the river along the shoreline is cordoned off by floats. Two people approach in a boat from the middle of the river.
