Streetcar Models in Herpolsheimer's Windows

Murch Morris - 1920s

A window display in Herpolsheimer's Department Store, located at the SW corner of Monroe and Ottawa, depicts models of two modern streetcars on a downtown street with a few autos. The Herpolsheimer sign, just to the right of center in the backdrop of buildings, identifies the building. A fabric swag frames the scene and another defines the foreground. A sign with the name, probably brass, is at the base of the window.
