An explosion due to a leaking gas main caused total destruction to the building at 1500 Wealthy St. SE, at the southeast corner of Wealthy and Ethel Ave. on Tuesday, February 26th 2008. Looking across Ethel Ave. the remains of the building are piled up. A small tree is covered with ice at the left and a newspaper box and trash barrel can be seen.
