| Notes | Title by cataloger. Cyril Lixenberg worked on the sculpture, Steel Water, for several months at the Leitelt Iron Works in Grand Rapids. The sculpture commemorating the role of Grand Rapids as the first city in the world to fluoridate its community water supply, was a gift to the city by the West Michigan Dental Foundation. This was Lixenberg's third major public sculpture in West Michigan. |
