Hall School Construction (24)

Universal Studio - 1956

The same view of the lower corridor as number 21 in the series taken about two months later. The ceiling is partially tiled, and cartons of ceiling tiles are stacked at the right in the foreground that are labeled, "Gold Bond Travacoustic" on one side and "Fragile Do Not Drop" on another. Openings have been left in the ceiling for lights, but they have not been installed. Some walls have brick facing. A workbench is at the far left, and just beyond it on the left lies construction debris and some concrete blocks. Beyond the blocks are wooden crates and farther down the hall on the right are more cartons of materials. At the center of the photograph are two workmen; one on the left stands on a rolling platform and the other is outlined by the window at the end of the hall.
