Will B. Canaan Co. - 1912-1913

Clara Comstock Russell and her husband, Huntley Russell, who is driving the 1910 model-T Ford behind the float, are part of the suffrage parade shown here at the corner of Monroe and Pearl. Votes for Women appears on the side of the horse-drawn float.  Margaret McKee sits on the throne at the back of the float, and the two men in white walking beside it are Lucius Boltwood, husband of Clara's sister, Etta, and Francis T. Russell, Clara and Huntley's son.
