Grand Rapids & Indiana RR Office

The view is looking southeast across the GR & I train yard at the building, an Italianate design, located on Ionia and Island (now Weston), where the railroad's general offices were located. A passenger coach is on the tracks at the left, and an engine and coal car are at center right with the engineer in the cab and another man outside. Piles of lumber in the foreground appear to be loaded on a flatbed railcar.
