Hall School Construction (15)

Universal Studio - 1956

Old Hall School shows on the right half of the photograph, but the walls of the new building close off the view of the lower floors. A sign at the far right near the brick-paved street lists the architectural firm which appears to read David Allen & Associates. The full body of the crane and it long arm can be seen at the corner of Grandville Ave. and Shamrock St. behind the leaning utility pole. A workman stands at either side of the crane that has Bay City printed on it. Parked on Shamrock St. are five vehicles; farthest left is a Pontiac with reconizable chrome stripes, then what might be a Studebaker, a Buick with chrome portholes, another GM car, and finally closest to the corner a Dodge pick-up truck.
