Jennie Russo, wife of G.B., and her daughter, also Jennie, stand behind the counter of the grocery store. The man in the center is Mariano Menzalora, Jennie's father. At the far left are tins of olive oil, and on the right large bags of flour. The shelves along the wall are well stocked with canned goods, and it appears that a meat counter stands at the rear of the store.
