Japanese Students at Calder Plaza

Carol Cronan - 2003

The red La Grande Vitesse sculpture by Alexander Calder in Calder Plaza looms large over the students from Omihachiman, Japan and their host families. A few tables with benches are located on the plaza, and there is a marker near the right "foot" of the sculpture. The county building is to the left in the background, and the tall building in the far distance, partially hidden, is Bridgewater Place. The view is looking west.
