J. Bayne - 1880
The date, 1880, and name, Arbeiter Halle, are at the top of the building. Finials decorate the roof, and a small wrought iron balcony is over the central entrance. A telephone pole is at the right, and a fire hydrant center front.
Title with photograph. Arbeiter Hall, located at the NW corner of Chatham and S. Jefferson, was a German social and sports club which were common to communities with German-American populations.
