Stuart and Elizabeth Long Riding Wagons
H. M. Long - 1912
Stuart Long and his sister Elizabeth play in wagons while their mother looks on in the background. The children's clothing and haircuts are typical of 1912. Their mother still wears a full-length dress although fashions are changing to shorter skirts around this time. The wagons are wooden and the wheels may be metal. The handle of the wagon appears to be a dowel with another dowel through for the cross-piece. The spaces in the sidewalk may present some difficulty for the wheels of the wagon.
