The crowds assembled in front of the Ford Museum September 9, 2004 Celebration on the Grand to watch the fireworks display. Large quantities of fireworks on the Richard Gillette pedestrian bridge, in the foreground, line the roadbed of the bridge awaiting for the program to begin at nightfall. The thin line across the river, north of the bridge, is the dam.
