Grand River Bridges

Jack Ropoleski - 2007

The view looking north displays a number of Grand Rapids bridges. In the foreground is the Bridge St. Bridge that links Michigan St., formerly E. Bridge St., with Bridge St. on the West Side. At the right of the bridge, on the east bank of the river, is the DeVos Place Convention Center, and on the west bank is the high-rise, Bridgewater Place. Just beyond are the two, east-west 196 bridge crossings, followed by the wrought-iron 6th St. bridge. Leonard St. and Ann St. bridges are the last two visible river crossings. The thin line in front of the first bridge is the dam.
