Huff School Addition

1910-1915

Huff School has been enlarged with an addition to the left of the photo, a new roof covers the entrance to two doors, shutters have been added to the windows, and trees planted in the front. The bell tower remains as before as does the chimney and portions of the fence. At the right in the distance tombstones can be seen in an area that would become Fairplains Cemetery.

Title by cataloger. This photo was not dated, but the differences from the one dated 1921 indicate it is the earlier. The trees are smaller, the chimney still in place, and there is no flagpole as there is in the 1921 picture. Cemetery information provided by Barbara VanderMark.
