Falling Column

The photographer caught one of the columns mid-fall during the demolition of the front of the D.A. Blodgett Home for Children prior to the addition for Mary Free Bed Hospital, and portions of fallen columns are on the ground. Just below the roof-line at the right can be read,"Erected A.D. 1908." In the foreground the stump of a felled tree remains.
