Description:

Factories are located along the west side of the Grand River with Bridge St. to the right. The Voigt Mill, producer of Crescent Flour, with its tall smoke stack is in the center of the photo. At the far left is the West Side Iron Works, and at the right the J.H.Benton Co. At the far right is Brown & Sehler located at 279-285 Bridge. The steeple of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church at 348 Mount Vernon NW is visible between the Iron Works and the Voigt Mill.
