Notes:

Title by contributor. The photo was taken in or before 1914 as it is almost identical to one used for the 1914 convention for the International Association for the Prevention of Smoke held in Grand Rapids when Louis Towner was elected president of the national organization. Towner was the first city smoke inspector and held that position from 1907-1914. Towner's Masonic records indicate he was Worshipful Master of Malta Lodge 465 in 1915, but the photograph lists 1917 as the date. Photograph provided to the Michigan Masonic Museum by James Keifer, the Editor of the Grand Rapids Masonic Journal.
