Bi-Centennial Award

The award from the Grand Rapids Historical Commission to Helen Meade for her contribution to the Bi-Centennial Celebration features a tree constructed of dates, the trunk of dates connected to the founding of the country to 1800 and the leaves of dates after 1800 with some relevant to Grand Rapids history. It is signed by Mayor Abe Drasin and Historical Commission Chair, Barbara L. Roelofs.
