Anti Child Slavery League Certificate

Certificate for charter membership of Mrs. William Blake (Alde Louise Tuck Blake) dated September 8th, 1906. The member pledges to make a personal effort to rescue at least one child from the bondage of child labor and send them to school. There is a picture in the upper left corner of a young child and a gold seal in the bottom right corner with an embossed image of a young plant. Just to the right of the seal in tiny letters is the name of the artist, E. Stetson Crawford. In the upper corners of the border are the initials ACSL and inserted in the border at various places are images of children's toys.
