Title from brochure. The electric interurban railroad operated from 1902 to 1928. A third rail in the country and an overhead wire in cities supplied the train's power. The GRGH&M was one of the first railways in the U.S. to use a third rail system of power distribution; the power supply was on the ground rather than overhead.
