An ONLINE DATABASE INDEX has been created by History and Special Collections Department of the Grand Rapids Public Library with some of the basic information from each of the 1918 Woman's Committee cards. It includes the following information for each woman: name, address, age, marital status, number of dependents, place of birth, occupation, education, and number of skills indicated. (Be patient as it takes a little time to load the large pdf file)

The index will be helpful to determine if is there is a card in the collection for a particular woman of interest. If you live locally you can then view the card at the library. If you do not live locally you may contact the library for a copy of the card. 

As of May 2012 cards are being entered for the letter "S".
