Grand Rapids Streetcar Video

In May of 2011 Grand Rapids went to the polls to vote on a millage supporting The Rapid, the city's local transit system. Fred Quillin promoted passage of the millage with his fascinating video using old photos and film--from the History & Special Collections Deptment of the Grand Rapids Public library--depicting the city when it was known for its excellent streetcar system.
