Louis C. Towner - 1911
The Coldbrook Pumping Station, originally the City Water Works and Lighting Plant, at the corner of Coldbrook and Monroe, was photgraphed in the late afternoon with the Grand River and the covered Leonard St. bridge to its left. The Sixth St. bridge is visible in the distance, and the tower of the #5 Engine House is on the far right. Monroe Ave. is just visible in the lower right corner.
