Candace Chivis and her sleeping son, Amiel, pause in front of the Garfield Nature Center sign. This six-acre wooded area located in the center of the city is at the heart of the Garfield Neighborhood, and borders Garfield Park.
Title by cataloger. In 1892 Charles W. Garfield planted ten species of trees on this property, and eventually gave it to the city.
