GRHC - 2007
The three story brick school, built in 1926, shown here during renovation in 2007. A cyclone fence across the front bears the sign: Danger, Construction area, Keep Out. At the center of the photo is the unique architectural portico with Byzantine styled arches and decorative tiles. The arches are filled with plywood to bar entry. Above the portico the sign, Burton School, is visible.
