George R. Allen Home

1890s

George R. Allen sits on the porch of his home next to the corner post. The other people are his wife, daughters, sisters, and friends. The house, built in the Victorian style with some Italianate details, stands next to that of his father, George W. Allen, just visible at the far left. The second entry at the right side of the house might have served as the entrance to Mr. Allen's office.
