Home of Emily & Melvin Clark

1920s

The three story Clark home on Sherman St. SE, near Norwood Ave., has a large wrap-around porch in the Queen Anne style, the third floor has dormers to allow more light, and a cupola sits atop the northwest corner of the house. To the right of the house, which became the original Clark Home for retired Methodist ministers, is the first "new" building for the expansion of the facility. A utility pole stands at the curb in the center of the photo.
